For over 50 years, the country's motorists at petrol stations, supermarkets and DIY stores have come across the reputable Danish car care brand Basta Car Care. Now speedway fans will also meet Basta, who has just launched a new series under the name Basta Green Line.

Basta Car Care has been visible at Vojens Speedway Center for the past few years, but the renewed agreement is part of a larger marketing strategy, where the new environmentally friendly series Basta Green Line will be launched throughout Scandinavia.
Basta Car Care, which was founded in Vangede near Gentofte in 1966, was in Swedish hands for a number of years before the company was bought in 2019 by the Kolding-based non-food trading company Sam Partner A / S.
- Basta is a solid Danish brand - not to be confused with bicycle locks of the same name - and in Sam Partner we see great potential in car products. But we also wanted to renew Basta Car Care, and have long fought to get the Nordic Ecolabel approved on the new series of six products, which we are now launching under the name Basta Green Line, says Heine Dalgaard, Nordic Key Account Manager at Sam Partner A / S.
The Nordic Ecolabel is the official Nordic eco-label, which was established by the Nordic Council of Ministers in 1989. Denmark joined in 1997.
The environmentally conscious profile fits well with Vojens Speedway Center and the SES team in the Danish Speedway League.
- We have long been in dialogue with Haderslev Business Council, which supports the UN's 17 world goals with a view to a sustainable daily life in the future, says director Jacob Olsen from Vojens Speedway Center and continues:
- In fact, speedway is probably the most environmentally friendly motorsport of all. We run on vegetable oil and methanol, which is wood spirit.
And the name Basta itself?
Yes, the word comes from Italian, and means "that's enough" or "end". It is a categorical final remark, stating that one does not want to say more about the case in question.
