Around 15,000 kroner came into the club box during Friday's large reception at Vojens Speedway Center. Thanks to a generous contribution to a bottle of six liters of champagne and three additional bottles of three liters from Skærsøgaard Vine, Vojens Speedway Klub was able to offer both lottery and auction, whereby the large amount came in.
Stadium manager Kim Schrøder, who was responsible for both lottery sales and auction, was surprised by the large support.
- We wanted to raise money for a 50cc motorcycle for the youth at Vojens Speedway Club, but had not expected it to go so far.
The motorcycle which, with equipment, costs well over DKK 12,000 is important for the club, both when the very young boys and girls want to try the speedway in a safe environment, but also during weekly training sessions for the club's youth team.
In addition to Skærsøgaard Wines, Friday's reception was launched in collaboration with Slagter Lampe, Nordthy Slik and Chips, Carlsberg and Thinghøjgaard Party Fireworks.
