The prestigious final of the individual Danish championship at Vojens Speedway Center will be moved from 10 June to 30 September. This great evening can very likely be the end of an amputated Danish speedway season. Tickets purchased for June 10 are also valid on the new date.

When the Danish government at Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's press conference on Monday, April 6, extended the ban on 10 people until Monday, May 11 - as well as a new ban on large public events such as Roskilde Festival until the end of August - the hourglass started to run seriously next to speedway races on Danish soil in 2020.
- The relocation of the DM has been approved by Denmark's Motor Union and TV2 Sport, so together with our World Cup Grand Prix, we are now focusing on two major events in September, says CEO Jacob Olsen of Speed1Way.
The Danish World Cup Grand Prix, also at Vojens Speedway Center, seems safe on Saturday, September 12.
- Both dates do not prevent any semi-finals and finals in the Danish Metal Speedway League, which is set for September 9 and 23, Jacob Olsen states shortly before Easter. However, he does not know what the fate of the Danish league will be in 2020.
The Danish league association makes a decision after Easter, but Denmark's Motor Union has closed down all racing activities until the end of May.
Vojens Speedway Center was to host the first European Championship race of the year, the SEC Speedway Euro Championship on Saturday, June 20. This race will not be completed and the Polish rights holder One Sport, together with FIM Europe, will announce the series after Easter.
