The reigning world champion won this year's 3rd World Cup Grand Prix in Wroclaw, ahead of home hero Maciej Janowski. Russian Artem Laguta took 3rd place, while compatriot Emil Saytfudinov, was excluded in the final, after a crash with Janowski.
Danish Leon Madsen won the basic series with 14 points, but had to suffer an exclusion in the semifinals. Anders Thomsen scored seven points, which did not extend to more than a 9th place. However, a great heat victory was an encouragement for the Danish champion.
In the overall standings, Janowski now has 58 points, ahead of Laguta 48 and Saytfudinov 46. Leon Madsen is number 7 with 28, while Thomsen has 20 points in 11th place. This year's 4th World Cup Grand Prix will be run tomorrow Saturday - also in Wroclaw.
