Next year's world champion is to be found across 11 rounds across at least seven different countries, including Russia, which is holding its first World Cup Grand Prix ever.

The upcoming season also marks the 20th Adrian Flux British SGP at Cardiff's huge Principality Stadium, while Prague's Marketa Stadium is still the longest-running stadium, celebrating its 26th World Cup Grand Prix on 5 June.

Monster Energy SON - Speedway of Nations - returns on September 17 and 18 in Latvia, where the top three countries in each semi-final qualify for the finals in Manchester in October.

The 2021 calendar is of course taking into account the worldwide corona situation.

-As the constraints continue to change, the 2021 calendar may be met with changes. But despite all the challenges we faced this year, we were still able to stage a fantastic speedway this season, and whatever 2021 entails, we are determined to give speedway fans around the world more terrific World Cups ran, says Paul Bellamy, Senior Vice President at IMG in London.

- I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made our 2020 World Cup series possible, including our partners at FIM.

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2021, concludes Paul Bellamy.
