The second semi-final in the Team WC took place tonight, and thus we know that Denmark will meet Sweden, the Czech Republic and Great Britain, all three of whom went on to the final this evening. This means that Denmark will fight for the WC title on Saturday against Sweden, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Finland, Australia and Poland.

Another night of the FIM Speedway of Nations has been completed and the evening again offered close racing and excitement. The Czech Republic surprised everyone and almost went through as winners tonight with 34 points, but were overtaken by Sweden in the end with 35 points.

The world champions from Great Britain had a bad night and failed to put the others in their place. It ended with Great Britain having to race against France in the qualifying heat, where the world champions drew the longest straw and thus keep their hopes up for another World Cup title.
