For the first time, SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway and Region Varde Elite Sport meet in the Speedway League. SES is in 2nd place while the Westerners - in 3rd place - show up with two interesting foreign drivers.

Originally, SES and Region Varde were supposed to have competed in August last year, but the match was canceled due to rain, and NERI decided to award both teams one point because the match would have no effect on the position at the time.
While SES shows up in its usual model with Anders Thomsen, Mads Hansen, Nicolai Klindt, Benjamin Basso and Jonas Knudsen, Region Varde comes to Vojens Speedway Center with two distinctive Scandinavian profiles.
Most striking is the Brazilian-born Swedish star Antonio Lindbäck, who has twice become team world champion with Sweden, and who has also won three Grand Prix victories in his career.
Lindbäck has struggled with a number of personal problems, and has twice been arrested for drunk driving, but he has most recently undergone a rehabilitation program and continues as a speedway driver at the age of 36 years.
The 29-year-old Finnish national team driver Timo Läthi is also in Vojens for Region Varde. Läthi is a popular guest in Danish speedway, and last year he drove for Nordjysk Elite Speedway, before returning to Region Varde, where he has always made a good figure.
Lindbäck and Läthi are flanked by Tim Sørensen, Bastian Borke, and Marcus Birkemose from Funen, who made their Danish breakthrough with a surprising bronze medal in the individual DM final in 2020, precisely at Vojens Speedway Center.
