For the first time in 580 days, the Danish Metal League was run on Wednesday evening. At Vojens Speedway Center, SES won by 45 - 39 over the reigning Danish champions from Fjelsted.
The two teams followed each other in many close and straight heats before the home team from heat 12 pulled away from the guests.
Nicolai Klindt became the top scorer for SES with 14 points, while German Kai Huckenbeck delivered 13, while the young Mads Hansen impressed with 11 points. The Danish champion Anders Thomsen did not quite hit the target, and had to settle for 6 points. Jonas Knudsen did not get on the scoreboard.
For Fjelsted, Peter Kildemand became the top scorer with 11 points.
Tonight's fighter was Fjelsted's Marcus Birkemose.
SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway will drive next week against Esbjerg and has home track again on 5 May against Slangerup.
