The continuous rain shower over Vojens Speedway Center led, on Wednesday 18 August, to a cancellation of the match between SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway and Region Varde Elite Sport. In collaboration between the Sports Commission under the Danish Motor Union and the two respective clubs, it has been decided that the match will not be completed, and each team will be awarded 1 match point each. Tickets from Wednesday 18 August will instead be valid for the DM super final on Wednesday 15 September .

The results in Wednesday's last round in the basic series in the Metal Speedway League precisely meant that a possible detour between SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway and Region Varde Elite Sport, has no sporting or performance impact on the final ranking in the basic series in this year's Metal Speedway League. The next match will therefore be the semi-final in Grindsted on Wednesday 1 September, where the home team GSK Liga will take on Team Fjelsted, Holsted Tigers, and Region Varde Elite Sport. The four teams will fight for two places in the DM super final at Vojens Speedway Center, Wednesday the 15th. September, where SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway and Slangerup Speedway have already redeemed tickets.
