This year's Danish team champions in speedway SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway were celebrated on Friday afternoon at a reception at Haderslev Town Hall.

Mayor Mads Skau (V) had invited the newly crowned Danish champions to champagne to mark the impressive sporting result in 2022, where for the first time the Vojens-based club managed to bring home DM gold – after a bronze medal in 2010 and silver in 2021.

- We are already seeing the fruits of the great work that Jacob Olsen and Helge Frimodt Pedersen started four years ago. After all, we can all sense how Vojens Speedway Center is really about to blossom again, to the delight of not just Haderslev Municipality, but for the whole of Southern Jutland, said Mads Skau in a short tribute speech to the SES team.
