The German national team driver who last year had a leading role when SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway won the Danish Championship silver and won the cup, is back at Vojens Speedway Center on Wednesday night. Here, SES meets Nordjysk Elite Speedway, which has two exciting Czech stars on the team.
Kai Huckenbeck gets the place as A-driver at the expense of the double Danish champion and Grand Prix driver Anders Thomsen.
- Kai has had a distinguished spring, and as one of our two A-drivers, it is natural that we would like to see him in action at Vojens Speedway Center, says manager Helge Frimodt Pedersen from SES.
Apart from the change in A place, SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway has the same squad as in recent matches.
The northern Jews have had a puzzle that should go on for the last 24 hours. Originally, the tdl. Slovenian Grand Prix winner Matej Zagar joins Vojens Speedway Center, but a seriously crashed Sunday afternoon in the second-best Polish league between Bydgoszcz and Rybnik, has sent Zagar on an involuntary break.
The match, which ended 45-45, had SES profile Nicolai Klindt in the lead role for Rybnik with 16 points in six starts.
Instead of Matej Zagar, Nordjysk has convened two Czech profiles in the form of Vaclav Milik and Jan Kvech. Milik is a five-time Czech champion, and he has also run 10 World Cup grand prix races, while the young Jan Kvech is considered one of the Czech Republic's greatest talents for many years. Kvech has ridden two WC Grand Prix on wildcard, and has been one of the dominant drivers in the U21 WC.
SES won the first showdown in Brovst with 45-39, and thus has good chances of earning a total match bonus point.
The race will be run on Wednesday 18 May at 19.00
