The reigning Danish champions from Holsted Tigers won the opening brag at Vojens Speedway Center with 44-40 despite the loss of world star Nicki Pedersen in heat 7.

On the balmy spring evening, the audience held their breath when Nicki Pedersen after a close fight with SES driver Mads Hansen smoked under the Air Force and knocked into the barrier between turn 1 and turn 2. After several minutes of examination in the ambulance, it turned out that Nicki Pedersen was fairly ok , despite a twist in the neck. After consultation with the competition doctor, however, Nicki Pedersen thanked for the rest of the evening. SES - Sønderjylland Elite Speedway did well from land, and led after heat 6 with 21-15. But thanks to a manly effort from Holsted profiles such as Rasmus Jensen, Rene Bach, Lasse Bjerre and young Marius Nielsen, the champions slowly fought back.

Before the last heat, the tension was at the top with 39-39, but a 5-1er to Holsted threw a wet cloth on SES, which had to admit the loss to a good fighting squad. For SES, Anders Thomsen scored 14 points, Benjamin Basso 8, Mads Hansen 9, but Nicolai disappointed a bit with 5 points. In D place Jonas Knudsen scored approved 4 points.
