It was a back and forth affair, but in the final, SES – Sønderjylland Elite Speedway took its fifth victory – out of five possible – against Esbjerg Vikings at Granly Arena.
SES won 43-40.

This match was a cavalcade of mixed candy.
Great performances and annoying point losses. SES won two of the first three heats, but were behind because Esbjerg had made a 5-1 in between. There was a good fight from both sides, and probably most from Esbjerg who needed their first win of the season.
Matias Nielsen and Jonas Jeppesen kept the West Jutland team in the match and made it 33-33 after heat 11, but in the last three heats SES was a little smarter, and took the last important points in a close match.
A match where two drivers – rarely – were both disqualified for hitting the starting line – Niels Kr. Iversen and Mads Hansen in heat 13.
A great evening at Granly Arena for SES, while Esbjerg and manager Tom Pårup Madsen have to dig deep to find some momentum.
SES is over next week, and celebrates 50 years of Vojens Speedway Center with the SES festival on Saturday.
