When this year's individual Danish speedway championship is held on Wednesday, June 25th – during the DM week in Nordjyske Brovst – the winner will be awarded a wildcard to the Deluxe Homeart FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Denmark – Vojens, on Saturday, September 13th.
If the DM title is won by Anders Thomsen or Mikkel Michelsen, who both drive the grand prix series in 2025, the spot will go to the highest ranking – non-grand prix – driver.

For the first time in Grand Prix history, Danish fans will know the name of the driver who will get the chance to show off in front of thousands of spectators and millions of TV viewers at the Deluxe Homeart FIM Speedway GP of Denmark, several months in advance.
It will be the newly crowned Danish champion 2025.
However, with the trick that if the Danish Championship title is won by Anders Thomsen or Mikkel Michelsen, who both race in the Grand Prix series in 2025, the spot will go to the highest ranking – not the Grand Prix rider.
The two field reserves for Saturday, September 13th will be appointed by national coach Nicki Pedersen.
– It is positive and gratifying that DMU, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports and FIM have decided that the Danish Championship final will have an influence on the Danish World Championship Grand Prix, says Jacob Olsen, director of Vojens Speedway Center.
– At the same time, the initiative gives the DM final itself an attractive boost and creates a synergy that benefits the development of Danish speedway, believes Jacob Olsen.
Vojens Speedway Center celebrates the 50th anniversary of its opening in 1975.
Therefore, this year's Danish Grand Prix is the final and decisive round. The day before, Friday, September 12, the SGP2 – U21 – world champion will be crowned and in the morning, Saturday, September 13, the official World Championship in SGP4 – the new youth class for 190cc – will be contested for the first time.
