With 11 heat wins – out of 14 – the home team was absolutely dominant at Vojens Speedway Center, where Region Varde Elite Sport was sent home with a 51-33 defeat. This strengthens SES's first place in the Speedway League.
The young 18-year-old Ukrainian Nazar Parnitskyi did great with 3 heat wins and 11+1 points as a replacement for Latvian Andzejs Lebedsvs, who sat out tonight's match. His Danish grand prix colleague Anders Thomsen was flying and scored four heat wins in a row, laying the foundation for the surprisingly big victory.
For SES, Jesper Knudsen also scored two great heat wins, while Mads Hansen was the top scorer.
The two Russian drivers Gleb Chugunaov and Vadim Tarasenko fought bravely to keep Region Varde on track, while Nicolai Klindt, Tim Sørensen and Nicolai Heiselberg could not really keep up.
